Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and his wife, Layla, are getting a divorce.
Kiffin reportedly confirmed the news in a written statement to FOX Sports. Kiffin said “After a lot of careful thought and consideration, Layla and I have mutually decided to divorce,” the former USC, Tennessee and Raiders head coach said. “We are fully committed to our kids’ future being our No. 1 priority. We will maintain an amicable relationship with respect for each other as we raise these three wonderful children. We will have no further comments and appreciate respect for our family’s privacy.”
According to TMZ.com, USC has filed a response to Sarkisian’s $30 million lawsuit.
The legal documents claims he fed the public a bunch of lies when he claimed his employers were aware of his alcohol issues.
Now SC is saying he NEVER admitted he had a drinking problem, or that he was an alcoholic.

Rice, who has been front and center during this tumultuous week for the NFL has been spotted out and about for the first time since he was suspended by the NFL and released by the Baltimore Ravens.
On Saturday, Rice, his wife Janay and their daughter, attended a high school football game at New Rochelle High School in NY. where Ray played ball back in the day.
According to sources…they were laughing and in good spirits as they cheered on the sideline as if they didn’t have a “care in the world.”
Ray and his family left before the game was over and sources say that he didn’t speak to the media.
She attended Towson University where Janay Rice earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.
She married her NFL beau in a private ceremony in March, 2014 a month after part of the elevator attack video emerged.

Defensive end, Michael Sam, who became the first openly gay player in the NFL, when he was picked up by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of the NFL, has found a new home in the league.
Sam was the 249th of 256 players selected!
Sam, who played collegiate ball at Missouri was dropped by the Rams in their final roster cut last over the weekend.
According to the latest sports news reports, Sam will join the Cowboys practice squad. Coach Jason Garrett said Wednesday that the league’s first openly gay player will be added to the practice roster.
NOTE: Members of the practice squad are paid a minimum of $6,300 per week, a fraction of the minimum $420,000 rookie salary.
“We just want to give him a chance to come in and help our football team,” Garrett said. “That’s where our attention is [football]. What people say outside the organization is up to them.”

Braxton Miller, Ohio State’s quarterback, accounted for five touchdowns. Carlos Hyde ran for 226 yards. And Coach Urban Meyer improved to 24-0 in two seasons at Ohio State (12-0, 8-0 Big Ten).
If not for the tattoo-parlor scandal, in which players received cash and tattoos in exchange for memorabilia, and the subsequent bowl ban issued by the NCAA, Ohio State might have played in last year’s national championship game. To make it this year, the Buckeyes will have to beat Michigan State next week in the Big Ten Championship game and hope for stumbles by either No. 1 Alabama, which played rival Auburn in a later game Saturday, or No. 2 Florida State, which plays in next week’s Atlantic Coast Conference championship game. Three players were ejected after a fight during the second quarter of the annual rivalry game between Ohio State and Michigan Saturday.
Ohio State’s Dontre Wilson and Marcus Hall were ejected, as was Michigan’s Royce Jenkins-Stone.
Hall is a starting offensive lineman for the Buckeyes, and after his ejection was announced, he slammed his helmet on the sidelines, kicked a bench and gave the crowd at the Big House the double-middle-finger salute as he headed to the locker room.
