original site Heroin, Flesh Eating Drug, Krokodil Krokodil, real name http://arc-theatre.com/sitemap-pt-post-2015-06.xml desomorphine, is an http://nepa.nl/pagemedia/wereldkaart/?page_id=12 opioid derivative of morphine. Like other addictive opioid  substances such as heroin.  It has a sedative and analgesic effect.

It’s onset is reportedly fast-acting and  eight to 10 times more potent than morphine. A homemade version of the substance  is easily made using codeine, iodine, gasoline, paint thinner, hydrochloric acid, lighter fluid and red phosphorus.

Krokodil is a popular Russian drug, made of codeine and an assortment of other chemicals, which are injected directly into the vein.

Dr. Frank LoVecchio, the co-medical director at Banner’s Poison Control Center, reported that his center located in Arizona has dealt with two users of the dangerous drug known for its use in Russia in the past week.

“As far as I know, these are the first cases in the United States that are reported. So we’re extremely frightened,” he said.

“They extract (the drug) and even though they believe that most of the oil and gasoline is gone, there is still remnants of it. You can imagine just injecting a little bit of it into your veins can cause a lot of damage,” LoVecchio said.

The combination of these chemicals (see list next page) often causes gangrene, making it necessary to amputate the affected regions. The acidic chemicals can also rot and eat at the flesh from the veins out.Heroin Drug Hits Arizona

It has been gaining attention internationally because of growing use in Russia, in part because it is cheaper than buying heroin. About 1 million people in Russia use krokodil, and the drug has been found in other European countries as well, according to the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.

Heroin, the drug most often compared to krokodil, is considered much more healthy and much less addictive than the flesh-eating intoxicant.

Russia is estimated to have around 2.5 million drug addicts, most of whom use heroin.

According to sources:  In 2009, Russian drug control services seized over 65 million doses of the drug.

NOTE:  A heroin addict may live up to six or seven years. The life of a desomorphine addict is much shorter- two years maximum. Some may take it for five years, but many people die after taking their first dose of this drug.

Cleansing Reduction a new Trend

Cleansing Reduction is a new trend that may make daily showers becoming  a thing of the past?

Proponents of the dirty trend known as “cleansing reduction” are whittle their washing habits down to once or twice a week on the grounds that too much cleansing can strip the skin and hair of essential natural oils.Cleansing Reduction, a dirty trend

Cleansing reduction means reducing showers to once or twice a week.

Benefits can include keeping good bugs which help fight disease intact.
A poll for tissue manufacturer, SCA, reportedly found that 41 per cent of British men and 33 per cent of women no longer shower every day.
Disgusting as it might sound,  University sociologist, Dr Elizabeth Lancaster,  says that daily showers are a relatively recent development and less than a century ago, a weekly bath would have been considered perfectly adequate.

‘Now we think nothing of showering once, twice or even three times a day, before and after work or going out and after the gym,’ she said in an interview with the Times.

‘It has embedded itself in our routine and become an essential, not an optional, thing to do.’

‘While dermatologists worry about the impact all the washing could have on your skin, green campaigners have long argued that reducing the amount of time we spend in the shower would benefit the environment. Cleansing Reduction Prince Harry and Jessica Simpson prefer dry shampoo

Waterwise, an NGO dedicated to reducing water consumption in the UK, argues that having fewer or shorter showers ‘will use less water and less energy’ and will also ‘reduce your carbon footprint, which helps prevent global warming.’ Its long-running ‘Shower Power’ campaign has attracted some celebrity supporters too, most notably the former children’s TV presenter, Kriss Akabusi.

But while preserving the environment is driving the soap-free trend for some, for many more, it’s simply because they’re too lazy to get up early for a wash.

A survey by the Global Hygiene Council last year found that 58 per cent of British men regularly miss their morning shower because they are too idle or too rushed.

According to sources…Prince Harry (who was admitted that he didn’t was his hair for 2 years) and Jessica Simpson Prefer using dry Shampoo.

Vinegar Cancer Test Saves Lives

Vinegar Cancer Test, offers dependable test for cervical cancer and reveals promising information.

A simple vinegar test slashed cervical cancer death rates by one-third in a remarkable study of 150,000 women in the slums of India, where the disease is the top cancer killer of women

Doctors reported the results Sunday at a cancer conference in Chicago.

Experts called the outcome “amazing” and said this quick, cheap test could save tens of thousands of lives each year in developing countries by spotting early signs of cancer, allowing treatment before it’s too late.

Usha Devi, one of the women in the study, says it saved her life.

“Many women refused to get screened. Some of them died of cancer later,” Devi said. “Now I feel everyone should get tested. I got my life back because of these tests.”

Pap smears and tests for HPV, a virus that causes most cervical cancers, have slashed cases and deaths in the United States. But poor countries can’t afford those screening tools.

This study tried a test that costs very little and can be done by local people with just two weeks of training and no fancy lab equipment. They swab the cervix with diluted vinegar, which can make abnormal cells briefly change color.

This low-tech visual exam cut the cervical cancer death rate by 31 percent, the study found. It could prevent 22,000 deaths in India and 72,600 worldwide each year, researchers estimate.

“That’s amazing. That’s remarkable. It’s a very exciting result,” said Dr. Ted Trimble of the National Cancer Institute in the U.S., the main sponsor of the study.

The story of research participant Usha Devi is not an unusual one. Despite having given birth to four children, she had never had a gynecological exam. She had been bleeding heavily for several years, hoping patience and prayers would fix things.

“Everyone said it would go away, and every time I thought about going to the doctor there was either no money or something else would come up,” she said, sitting in a tiny room that serves as bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room for her entire family.

One day she found a card from health workers trying to convince women to join the study. Devi is in her late 40s and like many poor Indians doesn’t know her date of birth. She learned she had advanced cervical cancer. The study paid for surgery to remove her uterus and cervix.
