Larry Johnson Petition
ESPN.com: Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson is 75 yards from becoming the team’s all-time leading rusher.
An online petition started by Chiefs fans asks general manager Scott Pioli to deactivate Johnson and keep him on the sideline so he cannot pass Priest Holmes for the team rushing record, or join the team’s Ring of Honor at Arrowhead Stadium.
Larry Johnson is a running back in the NFL, who was quite a hot commodity when he came out of Penn State. Johnson was a college stand-out, once rushing for 327 yards in a single game, and that made him a first round pick in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. At the time Johnson was an insurance policy for Priest Holmes, and now the Chiefs may be regretting that decision.
