ESPN is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles and former Virginia Tech quarterback Michael Vick , 31, have agreed to a six-year $100 million contract extension with $40 million in guarantees.
This is more money than Peyton Manning was able to get a few weeks ago. The Colts and Manning agreed to a five-year deal for $90 million, or $18 million a year — equal to what New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is making.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is scheduled to announce his support Tuesday for new legislation to crack down on those who support dog fighting. On July 17, 2007, Atlanta Falcons star quarterback Michael Vick was indicted by the federal government in connection with a dog fighting operation that was allegedly headquartered on property he owned.
