The controversial Miss California, Carrie Prejean, 21, whose revealing photos surfaced on the internet, will know on Monday whether or not she gets to keep her crown.  According to sources:  Shanna Moakler and Keith Lewis, co-directors of the Miss California U.S.A. pageant, are holding a press conference Monday morning to announce the fate of her title as Miss California.

Prejean’s first defining moment in her gloom and doom fate began when she was ask about same sex marriages by blogger Periz Hilton who was one of the judges in the Miss USA 2009 Pageant.  Her response in which said she opposed gay marriage ruffled feathers amongst many people.  It was later reported that one of her parents is gay.

The next chapter in her gloom and doom fate was when it was reported that the Miss California-USA sponsors paid for her breast implants.  This rumor was in fact confirmed.

Now the revealing photos in which the beauty queen is posing bare back.

If Prejean is decrowned, Miss California’s first runner up Tami Farrell will take her place.

Sources have reported that on Tuesday, “The Donald (Trump…that is)” co-owner of the Miss Universe Organization, is planning to hold a press conference  discuss the scandal. He will reportedly decide Prejean’s crown status as first runner-up in the 2009 Miss U.S.A pageant, which was held April 19.

So is this strike three for Prejean….guess we will just have to see.

Story Highlights: The Gossip Site TMZ has obtained proof that Carrie Prejean, Miss California, did pose in a topless  photo.

Carrie Prejean, first runner up in the 2009 Miss USA pageant continues to make the headlines.  First it was her controversial reaction to the question she was ask at the pageant by judge and blogger Perez Hilton about her thoughts on gay marriage.  Then rumors began to surface about her involvement with olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Then rumors surfaced that the pageant paid for the beauty queens breast  implants which was determined to be true.  Now pageant officials are stunned after the celebrity gossip website TMZ claims that she lied about an inappropriate topless photo circulating on the internet.

TMZ reported that Prejean sent an email to Keith Lewis, co-director for the Miss California USA pageant, saying: “This was when I was 17 years old. I was a minor. It was when I was first getting into the modeling world, being naive, and young. I shouldnt [sic] have taken the photo of me in my underwear. There are no other photos of me. This was the only one I took.”

A source close to 2009 Miss USA First runner up Carrie Prejean has confirmed that the controversial beauty queen, Miss California is dating Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps.  Radar online first broke the news and in what they claim is an exclusive report from Prejeans grandmother Jeanette Coppolla who confirmed the romance.

In an article written by ♦Radar Online♦ they reported that Coppolla said in a statement:   “Carrie and Michael have been out to baseball games and lunch.   He always calls her when he is in town and they go out.” Jeanette goes on revealing, “Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn’t serious about being in a relationship with him,” adding that “he’s a nice guy and she likes him.”

The website ♦Aces Showbiz♦ reported that Phelps has yet to comment on the ♥romance.  Prejean was ask by Miss USA pageant host Billy Bush about the relationship and she avoided addressing the rumors saying:

“That’s not appropriate to answer right now. He’s a great man … You can call me on a later day and we can talk about that.”
