♦Week 7 injury report: Texans’ Johnson hospitalized♦
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said WR Andre Johnson went to a Houston hospital for further examination on a chest contusion that he suffered during the fourth quarter against the 49ers. Johnson, a three-time Pro Bowler, returned for one play after hurting his chest, then came out of the game for good.
Jets RB Leon Washington suffered a broken fibula against the Raiders and underwent surgery Sunday night in Oakland. According to the Jets, Washington is out indefinitely and is not necessarily headed directly to injured reserve. Jets DE Shaun Ellis also left with an ankle injury, but he was questionable to return.

Vikings WR Bernard Berrian strained his left hamstring during the second quarter against the Steelers and didn’t return.
The Steelers lost DE Travis Kirschke (calf) and LB Lawrence Timmons (ankle) to injuries during the fourth quarter against the Vikings.
Colts WR Reggie Wayne left the game against the Rams during the second quarter because of a strained groin, but he returned after halftime. Colts rookie RB Donald Brown suffered a strained shoulder in the first half and didn’t return. Read more here
