Tennessee Rockslide
Wednesday, November 11th, 2009According to authorities an early morning rockslide in Tennessee has closed highway 64 in Polk County.
Officials have reported that the initial rockslide caused the mountain to collaspe thus resulting in a second rockslide.
Rockslide closes I-40 near Tennessee
There were no injuries in the mountain collaspe.
TDOT officials said the road will be closed indefinitely. The clean up could take as long as a week due to the size of the boulders on the highway.
