RADIO TALK show personality Rush Limbaugh is going through several tests as doctors are working on pinpointing the reason behind the chest pains he had suffered.
According to guest announcer Walter E Williams, who presented the programme hosted by Rush Limbaugh, the talk show host is resting comfortably now.
Shelley Meyer, the wife on Urban Meyer had made a 911 call on December 6, the morning after Florida lost to Alabama in the SEC Championship. Paramedics had soon after rushed to house of the Florida Head Coach. In the call, she reportedly tells the operator her husband awoke, complained of chest pains and then fell to the floor. Today, Thursday, he’ll have a complete examination and we’ll know more. And we’ll keep everyone informed when there’s information to share. We just don’t have a lot of information to share right now. Know this, though: Rush is in good and stable condition, comfortable — as comfortable as one can be in a hospital while on vacation — and he’s in good hands. And you are in good hands today with Walter. E. Williams sitting in the Attila the Hun Chair. Read more here
Associated Press: The Revs. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson attacked the bid by Rush Limbaugh to buy the St. Louis Rams on Monday, saying the conservative radio host’s track record on race should exclude him from owning an NFL team. Sharpton sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, arguing that Limbaugh has been divisive and “anti-NFL” in some of his comments.
Jackson said in a telephone interview that Limbaugh had made his wealth “appealing to the fears of whites” with an unending line of insults against blacks and other minorities.
“The National Football League has set high standards for racial justice and inclusion,” Jackson said. “He should not have the privilege of owning an NFL franchise — and it is a privilege.” The civil rights leader said he’s had contact with numerous players and ex-players concerned about the bid.
“The Rams would be a great team to have,” Limbaugh told the St. Louis Business Journal last week. “I have a lot of friends in ownership in the NFL, and my desire to get involved has not been a secret.”
Limbaugh shot back at Sharpton on his radio show. Read full Associated Press story here

The Deal.com reported: Outspoken conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh may buy the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams. After months of rumors, the conservative radio host has agreed to join St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checkett’s consortium of bidders. Checkett’s reportedly has been looking for a high-net-worth individual to help fund his bidding group. Read full story here
What is Rush Limbaugh’s net worth?
Wiki Answers:
No one knows for sure, as Rush Limbaugh is not tied to a public company, and thus does not have to publish figures. This said, however, press releases and insider sources have been able to change a guess to “educated guess”. Known revenue includes:
$285 million salary and bonus for 2001 through 2008 ($35m bonus, salary of approximately $31.25m/year)
$400 million salary and bonus from 2009 through 2016 ($100m plus bonus – the exact figure was not disclosed, except for “nine digit bonus” – and $38m/year salary)
So through his salary itself, he has earned $285 million for current work, $400 million for future. And that only covers back to 2001. Rush has been on the air since 1988. While he certainly earned less in his early days, it can be assumed his salary was significant. Additionally, it is rumored that he receives a share of advertising revenue, which would be quite large, considering his 20 million listeners each week.
