MLB.com has reported that the Mets traded right fielder Ryan Church to the Braves for Jeff Francoeur prior to Friday’s contest with the Reds.

♦Francoeur benched for third straight day♦

Francoeur hit .250 with five home runs and 35 RBIs in 82 games for the Braves this season. Church, meanwhile, batted .280 with two homers and 22 RBIs in 67 games for the Mets.  Read more here
