Sex and the City 2 star John Corbett, 49, appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly today and  made a surprising announcement that he and longtime girlfriend Bo Derek, 53, were getting married.

Corbett, told Regis and Kelly ,  “We were actually talking about that last night. We went to a party and we were talking about maybe doing it one day. First time we’ve talked about it in 8 years! Funny enough.”

Corbett has never been married however, Bo Derek was married to John Derek for 30 years.

According to E News, Cynthia Nixon, Sex in the City Star and girlfriend Christine Marinoni have announced their ♥ engagement.  The couple have been together since 2003.  The announcement was made at a same sex rally in New York state over the weekend.  Nixon and her Sex in the City co-stars are preparing to film the sequel of their big-screen hit this summer.
