Los Angeles, California (CNN) – Actress Brittany Murphy has died, Los Angeles police and hospital officials said Sunday. She was 32.

Murphy was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. PT Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, hospital spokeswoman Sally Stewart told CNN Radio.

No other details were immediately available.

Murphy starred in several movies, including “Clueless,” “Don’t Say a Word,” and “8 Mile.” She also voiced the character Luanne on the animated TV series “King of the Hill.”

TMZ has reported that pageant director for the Miss Califonia USA, Shanna Moakler has resigned as the director following Donald Trump’s press conference held on Tuesday in which he allowed controversial beauty queen Carrie Prejean to keep her crown.  Read more at TMZ
